![]() ![]() The G-Bubinga has the same shell composition as far as thickness which comes 12 ply the beauty about this snare is it's bright crisp crack that it provides as well as volume. ![]() I play mostly Gospel, R&B as well as Rock so for me I am somewhat always tuning the snare to appropriate voices depending on the genre that I am playing and ghost notes speak at any tuning level this is simply a wonderful drum! Tama did a great job on this snare in the aspect of how sensitive it is under any tension. The thick 12 ply shell really allows the snare to be loud when need be (effortlessly). For the price I rate this a 12 out of 10 due to its boutique look and style as well as voice. The G-Maple is one of the most versatile snares on the market as well as its ability to present itself through the music that you play. I have both snares the G Maple and the G Bubinga and all I can say is WOW!!! ![]()
